Found several problems...First and most important, the lower motor mount has a a bolt but no nut. The bolt is stuck thru the hole in the mount, but there is no nut to hold the bolt in the hole. Secondly, they cross threaded one of the bolts that holds the manifold on the turbo. That bolt snapped when Phil tried taking it out. I got there and he was pissed and he told me what happened. I looked at the bolt. The threads are destroyed where they cross threaded it. There was nothing Phil could do. The bolt needs to be drilled out of the turbo and then that hole on the turbo needs rethreaded. Third, when I started to put the ported manifold on the car I got all the bolts tightened but one and it never got tight at all. I was like what the hell is going on? I took the nut back off and reached down to grab hold of the stud and it wiggled. I was like uhhhhh that's not right. Pulled on it with my hand and it came right out of the head. They either cross threaded the stud back into the head or they didn't put it in far enough. The first 4-5 rows of threads in the head for that stud are gone, however I was able take a regular bolt and run it back into the head and clean the remainder of the threads up so that we could get the stud to screw farther back in the head. It took us all evening to get this thing back together. We even made a special trip to my garage at my mom's house to find some bolts and nuts. Needless to say, I'm hating your car at the moment. It's 1:46 a.m. and I have to be up at 7 to go to that show. The car is back together, but that bolt still needs drilled and removed from the turbo and the hole tapped and you need to find a nut for that bolt for the lower motor mount. I'm beat. I'm going to bed. FUCKING RICERS!
