I went down to Moses to get a new stock amp put in cuz the old one was paying out and my friend Dewayne who works ther lifted the car up on the rack to check things for me and saw that my powersteering seal was leakin along wiht my pinion seal. So I got all that replaced along with new bearings and a new designed yoke. Dewayne happened to have a LS1 Trans Am alum. driveshaft sittin there that hed sia hed let me have for 50 bucks so he installed it for me at Moses. If my warrany wasnt still in effect Id have to pay over 1700 bucks for all of the work done. Thank God for my warranty.
So like I say I have my aluminum driveshaft now. I am now in negotiatons with a guy for a torque arm which I shoudl get for like 75 bucks. I should be ordering my valve train parts todya and installing it within the next week or two then the tuning comes.

Your pinion seal will always like now...especially if you run it hard. Keep an eye on it. They all do it man. I've had the rear of mine apart 5 times now and every time I've had to replace the seal. It happens when you run the shit out of them.

Yea, but I got this newly designed yoke put on the car now. This yoke has some kind of double ring gasket in it. Dewayne told me that it holds up a hell of a lot better than the one that was previously on it. I saw the yoke and it looked to be a lot better quality than the stock one.

less rotating mass = quicker acceleration. I'll worn you though....if you start making big horsepower and you get traction I would get rid of the aluminum shaft...you'll twist it in half. Seen it a lot!!!!
