The correct hp is in his signature...you have to remember though, that's on a 4 wheel drive dyno. The car would put down somewhere around 500rwhp if they took the front driveshaft out and ran it on a 2wd dyno

not only is it a 4 wheel dyno but it is also a mustang dyno, which reads lower than the normal dyno jets that everyone else uses. there has been differences from 15-22%, so on a dynojet it would be just over 500whp. i hope to get it on one, just so i can compare it to everyone else's dyno numbers.

i would be well over 500lbs of torque if done 2 wheeled on a dynojet. but i like my low reading numbers....makes me feel better when i beat people with higher HP numbers and see the dumbfounded look on their faces! lol

My boy Daniels is off FTO and is working the West side, he says he loves it. This is from a guy who I NEVER thought would be the popo.

There is a big difference between crank numbers and wheel numbers. For instance, my car is rated at 302 lb ft of torque from the factory. On a dyno it would only put down roughly 230 lb ft. Unless you put it on a dyno and get corrected numbers you can't guesstimate what the car is actually putting to the road. Every car will have different driveline losses.

well with my mustang back in 91' those cars were dynoed on the rear wheels, not at the flywheel, and the 91 foxbody LX and GT both put out 225hp and 310 ft/lb of torque stock, at the rear wheels.

Well man you are in luck because the guy who tuned my car in Ashland knwn as Bluecat on Kyhorsepower.com just bought a dyno and will have it up and running real soon. So when he does if you want you can run down there with me and we will dyno our cars.

Those aren't rear wheel numbers. Those are crank numbers...trust me. Your car stock runs relatively the same numbers as the 96-98 4.6 Mustangs...approx 14.2-14.5 in the 1/4 depending on the driver. On a chassis dyno those cars put down around 180rwhp to the ground. Trust me man, I've messed with literally gobs of 302 and 351 Ford powered cars and those numbers are crank numbers. As a matter of fact I have a 302 based 347 stroker at the house and 3 351's that are just waiting for a project chassis. To be honest, even with the 347 stroker I would be hard pressed to see 400 hp at the crank without forced induction or nitrous unless I spent a ton of money. That engine is probably capable of 325-350rwhp with a decent set of heads and a good cam, but without major port work and literally thousands of dollars in head work and valve train parts I'm not going to see anymore than that N/A. That's just how Ford engines are....they make ok power N/A, but when you add some sort of power adder look out! That's how Ford has always kept up with GM. I bleed Ford blue...but for big N/A power, it's hard to beat GM.
